Bend

Central Oregon has been ranked among the top 50 golf destinations in the world, and Bend is a big reason why. With an average of 300 days of sunshine per year, low humidity and cool evenings, this mountain community is the perfect playground for outdoor enthusiasts, especially golfers. Of the more than two dozen courses in Bend, Pronghorn Golf Club is likely the most famous.

Pronghorn includes stunning water features on the Fazio Course and magnificent views of the Cascade Mountains on the Nicklaus Course. Tetherow Golf Club is a David McLay Kidd design that sports a Scottish heathland look. Eagle Creek Resort, which is great for families, has four designs, including the scenic Ridge Course and the more challenging Resort Course. Another tough test in Bend is Widgi Creek Golf Club, a Robert Muir Graves layout. He also designed River's Edge Golf Course, which is a great place to show off your shot-making and photography skills much like most of the golf courses around Bend.
