Greatest in Central Oregon
Super cool course and absolutely great staff!! Fair and “playable” for all levels of golfers. A better value than any you can find in the area!
This place is exceptional.
The staff is very accommodating and offers exceptional customer service. The layout can be challenging, but all skill levels will enjoy this course. The views are phenomenal and there is no city “noise” to distract you at this location! It is the best overall value in Central Oregon.
Best value in Central Oregon!
The best word for this golf course is amazing! The staff offers exceptional customer service. The facilities are very modern and kept well maintained. The course layout can be challenging, but not intimidating. The views around the course are spectacular. You will not find a better value and experience in Central Oregon.
Beautiful Vistas
The course, the surroundings, and vistas are beautiful. The pro shop staff was welcoming and professional. The warm-up range, not large, was set up for social distancing. The fairways were well maintained, cut to the appropriate height. The sand bunkers were packed, making it difficult to get the club head deep into the sand under the ball. The greens were hard, making stopping the ball a challenge. However, the greens were cut to a good speed and rolled true. The only negative was pace of play. We waited on every tee shot, second shot on par 5's, and every approach shot. The foursome in front of us had two golfers who played from the white tees, rarely hitting a tee shot further than 100 to 120 yards off the tee. Most of the time, we never saw the group in front of them. It would have been nice to have a marshal request them to allow us to play through. I would play the course again if I am ever in Central Oregon on a future visit.
Sleeper
This course is really good and a very good value. A true test for your game and you will get to use a lot of your clubs. There are no adjoining fairways so club down if you need to keep em straight. Otherwise punch out if you can find it. Play provisional balls liberally. Enjoy the views. If you are more than 6 handicap, forget about the tips.
Challenging but fair
Only go to play 9 holes due to extreme heat that day, but course was in very good shape and was extremely
fair to play, but had some challenging holes.Would recommend course for anyone to play.
Worth the drive
Quail Run is a good lay-out with a good variety of holes. A good test of your golfing skills. Has some longer par 4s, some water, and mostly wooded fairways. Beautiful views on many holes of various mountain peaks of Central Oregon. Greens fees are quite reasonable compared to other courses in Central Oregon. It's located about 15 miles south of Sunriver so it may seem little out-of-the-way but it is certainly worth the drive.
