Solid 9 hole track
This is a very laid-back golf place. It is run by a non-profit.
They do not take tee times, so just show up to play. The par 5s are long/uphill holes. The strength of the course is the postage stamp sized greens, very demanding.
This is certainly not a course you hear much about. It also is the only course (I believe) between Eugene and south of Bend. Try it out if you are in the area.
Bring your short game
Small target greens require accurate irons if you want to be on in regulation. Wide fairways allow you to rip away with your driver. Of course errant drives will make it that much harder to hit the small greens in regulation.
Pace of play if fast!! This course has very little playing pressure, it's not well known outside of the local area.
The price is great!!
The most fun I've had on a 9 hole course. 18 holes plays to a slope rating of 123 so it's got some challenge to it.
Holes 2, 4 and 9 are typically considered the most challenging. Water can come into play on 4, 5, 6 and 9. Not a lot of sand on the course, traps on 3 and 6.
