The Highlands Golf Club is a gorgeous executive style course that is located next to the Oregon Coast. It meanders through a neighborhood and is sculpted out of a hillside overlooking Gearhart Beach. This 1800-yard, par-30 course provides all the challenge and practice you need for your short game.
The course also lays claim to having the best prices on custom-made clubs and equipment in the country. Some manufacturers restrict them from advertising their low prices. Call for prices and a brochure, you won't be disappointed.

- The course is extremely short and narrow often, played by slow seniors and women.The manager in the pro shop is not friendly, often being borderline rude. Save your capital and play the Gearhart Golf Links instead.Beautiful course in a beautiful coastal setting. You can here the waves breaking from the backside fairways. Very well maintained, tee to green. Nice clubhouse putting green area and variety of holes, including a fun, quirky hole #5. You kind of have to see it to believe it. Fun, quick nine.Beautiful course and well maintained. Very narrow fairways. Stopped hitting my longer clubs after awhile to keep the ball in play. Itching to come back and best my score!My favorite course on the North Oregon coast. This is my home course since moving here 8 years ago. The course is short and narrow and a challenge on every hole. Great for all ages and skill levels. Staff is professional and monthly tournaments during the good weather months. If your looking for clubs and equipment, Discount Dans prices cannot be beaten.Grew up playing golf here when I'd come down to the beach in the summer. My favorite course! ALWAYS make a point of playing here when I visit Gearheart.Excellent golf course! Friendly staff and the course is always in great condition. No par-5's but it is fun and a challenge for any skill level. They stopped ten dollar Tuesdays awhile back but it is still a steal of a deal for the quality!My BFF and I have played this course every fall for the last 6 years. It is the best kept secret of the north Oregon coast. We love the people who work here and we love the course.
This course is one of the best kept secrets on the north coast. It is the best maintained course around that area. It is a very fun course and demanding if you use your driver. I was told the best thing anyone could do was stick to a five iron on down. For most of the holes that holds true. I love the little 3 par down over the hill. It can be a tough shot if you have not played it before. One time we played it and had to stop and watch two little fawns run up and down the fairway.Thought this course was SMOKE free! I was disappointed to see cigars being sold & smoked on the course while I was trying to enjoy the fresh air of the beautiful ocean.This course will really point out your weaknesses ie. hitting fairways, chipping, putting on fast greens and paying attention to wind speed and direction. Ten dollar tuesdays unbeatable! Really fun course.Highlands is a BLAST to play.If you want a real test of your short game,this is the place.I just love these types of courses,great for betting with your pals and great to just play as a single.Can't beat the price either.
